A couple yesterday denied killing their ten-month-old baby girl when they appeared in Supreme Court for the monthly arraignments session.

Amenemhat Waset Amen-Ra TaMerry and Maatkai Hatsheput TaMerry - formerly Dr. Clark Godwin and Regina Woods - pleaded not guilty to the manslaughter of their daughter A-Mya between May 1, 2000 and March 1, 2001.

The couple were represented by lawyer Saul Froomkin. Their $10,000 bail was extended and they will reappear for mention on October 1.
