A: After the last edit, Celebrity Mole Yucatan<$>, ABC passed on future editions of the reality show despite fairly decent ratings — a move that surprised many TV insiders. It’s possible that another network could pick up the rights and produce another edition. Stay tuned.

A: He has an action-adventure film led Rogue and a drama called Jolene due out in October. He’s also expected to star in a new drama for ABClled Big Shots.

A:<$> At this writing, the actor who played Big so memorably on TV, Chris Noth, hasn’t yet been signed for the big-screen version, even though when the series ended, Mr. Big had just flown over to Paris to win Carrie Bradshaw back and had succeeded. According to Noth’s agent, they’re waiting for an offer — meaning, the right amount of money — and looking at ways to integrate the shooting schedule with the actor’s schedule for Law & Order: Criml Intent<$>.: I miss The Sopranos already. A:<$> He’s co-starring with Robin Wright Penn in an as-yet-untitled film about the romance between Ernest Hemingway and journalist Martha Gelhorn, who became his wife. Several observers also expect him to start directing.

Q: I think Thomas Haden Church is great. Does he have any other movies coming up? — N.G.

A: The actor — currently onscreen the latest Spider-Man film — co-stars with Dennis Quaid and Sarah Jessica Parker in an upcoming romantic comedy called Smart People<$>, is lending his voice to an animated filalled Bolt<$>, and is preparing to co-star with Sandra Bullock in the comedyll About Steve<$>.

Q: What is actor Nick Nolte doing now? — A.W.

A: He co-stars with Sienna Miller and Mena Suvari in the oming film The Mysteries of Pittsburgh, is providing a voice for the adventure fantasy The Spiderwick Chronicles, is currently oting the drama The Death of Harry Tobin and is preparing to shoTropic Thunder<$>, with Ben Stiller, Owen Wilson and Jack Black, to be directed by Stiller. The last film, a comedy, is due out next July.

Q: I think actor Jimmy Fallon is really adorable. Is he making any new movies? — D.J.

A: Yes; he co-stars with Sharon Stone and LuLiu in the comedy Rockett, due out in November.

Q: I read that George Clooney is going to Showtime. Is he going to be in a TV series? — H.F.

A: No, Clooney is producing eries pilot called Doubting Thomas; it’s a drama about a family of televangelists. The first episode is scheduled to go into production in January, and if the cable network’s executives approve, it will go on the network’s regular schedule next fall.

Q: I think actress Charlize Theron is so beautiful and talented. Does she have anything new coming out? — B.L.

A: A lotue for release are: In the Valley of Elah, a drama about the Iraq War, due out in Sember; Sleepwalking<$>, a drama, co-starring Woody Harrelson; and the action film Battle in Seattle, directed by her boyfriend, Stuart Townsend. She’s currently ming the action-drama John Hancock<$>, with Will Smith and Jason Bateman, and is planning others: The Ice the Bottom of the World<$>; the crime caper The Brazan Job, a sequel to The Italian Job; andother crime film, Jinx<$>. And she’s set to start shooting a new drama, The Bung Plain, in November.

Q: I read they’re makingnew version of Footloose. Is Kevin Bacon going to be in it? I think he’s great. — K.F.

A:<$> There’s always a chance that Bacon will do a cameo, but the new version of Footloose is going to be a musical, based on the Broadway version of Bacon’s 984 film. this time around, the star will be Zafron, currently onscreen in Hairspray.
