September 17, 2013Dear Sir,Kim Swan and the PLP seem to think that their contribution to Bermuda’s future is to hold the OBA accountable for every word they said in the past.And that is not totally unexpected because they themselves seem to actually live in the past and the only other reason for their continual divisive sniping is personal political gain.Holy you know who, can’t we let these OBA people give it their best shot??For crying out loud, the OBA is not perfect but I am damn sure there is a ton more talent in that Party then you will ever find between Kim Swan and anyone in the PLP. And more than that, for the likes of Walton Brown, Wayne Furbert and Bermuda’s #1 you know what, Rolfe Commissioning, to criticise the opinions and research findings of the Sage Commission and others is almost laughable if it wasn’t so sickening.Is politics and divisiveness so pervasive among these people that, even in the face of obvious intelligent decisions, they have to spout off the most ridiculous comments? What is it about their combined selective memory’s that 14 years of failure doesn’t require even a slight change in direction? Who cares about what the OBA or anyone else said in the past ... just give these people a chance to fix the damn problem!When a highly respected economic analyst tells us that we are in a club with South Sudan and Greece ... my friends, we really should stop the BS and start listening!!SincerelySky Larkin
