Church organist to be honoured

Rodney Tucker, the organist for Marsden Methodist Church in Smith's Parish will be honoured by the congregation tomorrow for continuously providing music for the Church for half a century.
Mr. Tucker also plays weekly at the 11 a.m. Sunday service at Wesley Methodist Church in Hamilton.
The Rev. Peter Tink said guest choirs and soloists have been invited to join the celebration.
And the Marsden Men's Choir, formed and conducted by Mr. Tucker, will be making their own unique contribution to the 9.15 a.m. service.
Following the tribute, the celebrations will continue at a special testimonial luncheon for Mr. Tucker, his family and friends.
Until his recent retirement, Mr. Tucker was a barber at the US Base.
And he became well known as a member of the Talbot Brothers Musical Group.
