Shares of Devonshire Industries Ltd fell $1, or 30.8 per cent, to $2.25 after 9,600 were traded on The Royal Gazette/BSX Index.

Also falling was Bermuda Aviation Services Ltd, down 25 cents, or 12.5 per cent, to $1.75 after 9,508 shares changed hands.

West Hamilton Holdings Ltd improved 20 cents, or 5 per cent, to $4.20 after 8,340 shares were exchanged, while Argus Group Holdings Ltd gained 20 cents, or 4.4 per cent, to $4.75 after 1,872 of its shares were traded.

Butterfield Bank was up 56 cents, or 1.5 per cent, at $39.11 after 7,957 shares were exchanged. On the New York Stock Exchange, the bank’s shares were up 19 cents, or 0.48 per cent, at $39.59.

The Royal Gazette/BSX Index was up 33.25 points, or 1.28 per cent, at 2,641.04. The BSX Insurance Index was 1.02 points higher, or 0.06 per cent, at 1,777.74.
