Bermuda kept their opponents on the back foot during a fruitful morning session of the second day's play in the Intercontinental Cup match today, grabbing four wickets to send the Dutch into lunch at 313 for seven.

After play had been brought forward by a half hour to 9.30 a.m. to compensate for time lost to rain on the first day, Bermuda struck in the 10th over of the morning as spinner Dwayne Leverock trapped Alexei Kerezee for 16, leaving the Dutch on 255 for four.

They had begun the day at 235 for three.

Nine runs later young Rodney Trott claimed his first international scalp as he had new batsman Peter Borren superbly snapped up by Kwame Tucker at silly mid-off for six.

Pacer Kevin Hurdle then contributed to a good morning's work, holding an excellent catch off his own bowling to dismiss Daan van Bunge for 39 and leave Holland on 285 for six.

And Leverock kept up the pressure, bagging his second wicket in a marathon morning session of 18 overs, and third of the innings, as captain Luuk van Trust edged to Janeiro Tucker at first slip, having added 24.

Holland at that stage were 309 for seven and by the lunch break Jeroen Smits (2 not out) and Billy Stelling (13 not out) had carried the Dutch to 313 after 111 overs.
