Mr. ElAmin was previously at the Bermuda Sun for two-and-a-half years, the first year as a sub editor. He then became its business reporter.

He is Canadian and holds degrees in journalism and philosophy. He has worked for magazines, wire services and newspapers in Canada and Southern Africa.

Former business reporter Doug Ashbury is now working as a general news reporter.
