The Royal Gazette/Bermuda Stock Exchange Index gained 1.55 points or 0.07 percent yesterday to close at 2,086.57. In a quiet day of trading only 5,845 shares changed hands.

There was little activity in Bank of Bermuda and Bank of Butterfield shares, and the only change in the banking sector was a gain of $0.05 or 0.8 percent in Bermuda Commercial Bank shares which closed at $6.25 on volume of 3,815 shares.

The only other stock to trade for the day was KeyTech Ltd. which gained $0.15 or 1.5 percent to close at $10.10 on volume of 1,000 shares.
