Jennifer: Some good workouts
As the weeks of the 100 Day Challenge draw to an end, Jennifer Wills, The Royal Gazette's columnist still doesn't know how much she's lost, but her dog's lost four pounds.
Still she's enjoying the community support and finds herself being far more active on her days off then she ever would have been before.

I received a call earlier in the week from Lynn. Lynn and I don't know each other but she went out of her way to call me and tell me how much she has enjoyed reading my column and to wish me well in my continuing quest to get fit.
I was really touched and I want to think Lynn and everyone else, friends and strangers, who have been so supportive of my column and my efforts at weight loss. It has really meant a lot to me.

We took mom with us to the Carriage House tonight. We had some wine (only a glass for me!) and even dessert.
Normally Perry's eyebrow would practically be flying off the top of his head from giving me stern looks — wine and dessert? He left me alone though — maybe I'll have to bring mom more often!
Sunday, April 13
Sundays are usually total sloth days but today we actually managed to get some chores done before vegging out. We cleaned the apartment in the morning and then sent the dogs down to the dock for a good long swim.
We also did some work in the yard. What started out as "trimming back a few branches" turned in to an episode of Landscapers' Challenge! We did a major clear out. It was a pretty good work out hauling branches up the hill and raking up leaves.
The dogs had a good time too, although Scout couldn't understand why we were cutting down branches and not tossing them into the water for her to fetch.
Atticus kept trotting off with branches three times his size and chewing on them for a few minutes before abandoning them to come back for a new one.

Marathon Melissa and I were bad tonight. We exercised our jaws having a good old girlie chat. It was in Melissa's best interest though. She's running the Boston Marathon next Monday and it would be terrible if she came out to exercise with me and sustained some horrible injury. I feel it was a worthy sacrifice!

Scout has lost four pounds! Hooray! She's starting to lose that barrel shape and regain her waist. There is hope for us.
