BSX closes unchanged

The Royal Gazette/Bermuda Stock Exchange Index closed unchanged yesterday, although more than $1 million worth of shares changed hands.
The Index held at 4,726.26 as 19,800 shares of Butterfield Bank and BF&M worth $1,077,967.75 were traded.
Butterfield held at $55 on volume of 19,200 shares, while BF&M, which reported its nine-month results yesterday, closed at $17 on volume of just 700 shares.
The Bermuda Insurance Index closed down 1.33 points to 1.208.12 in mixed trading. Ace and XL 0.34 and .0.57 percent respectively, while RenaissanceRe gained 1.51 percent, Aspen was up 1.09 percent, endurance rose 0.98 percent and Partner Re closed up 0.79 percent.
US exchanges will be closed today for the Thanksgiving holiday.
