Thirteen different stocks were traded, with the biggest variation in price in BELCO Holdings, which fell $1.60 to close at $19.65.
Other drops in price came from BF&M preferred shares which fell $1.00 to close at $9.00, KeyTech which fell 50 cents to $29.00 and Bermuda Press Holdings, owners of The Royal Gazette , which lost 25 cents, closing at $7.50.
The most significant rise was in Bermuda Bakery shares, which closed up $1.25 at $21.00.
Argus Insurance price rose 50 cents to $17.50 after announcing spectacular annual results. BTC 7 3 shares also went up 50 cents to finish at $95.00.
The largest turnover in shares came from the banks. Bank of Butterfield saw 74,300 shares change hands, but closed unchanged at $15.20.
Bermuda Commercial Bank also stayed at the same price, $5.00, trading 52,000.
And Bank of Bermuda traded 50,568 shares, with a $1.00 raise in price to close at $29.00.
The index closed up 17.791 points or 1.25 percent at 1,425.41 on a volume of 231,160 shares worth $3,720,086.45 and 16,635 bonds worth $15,803.25.
