Do you know the owner of this car?
An illegally parked car has remained in the same position for more than three months.
A member of the public complained that a white Toyota car has been parked at the junction of Serpentine Road and Cemetery Road.
They also said there had been many near misses as motorists are unaware that the car is just around a bend.
The Royal Gazette contacted the Bermuda Police and Transport Control Department and alerted them to the situation.
Public and Media Relations Assistant Robin Simmons said that once they locate the vehicle, if they feel it is illegally parked they will ticket it.
A spokesperson for TCD, who was alerted to the situation, said that they were unable to take any action at this time.
The spokesperson said standard procedure would usually be to contact the owner and place an abandoned sticker on the car and send a letter to the listed address of the car so that the person can remove it.
The owner will then be given 14 days to remove it or it will be towed away.
The spokesperson said that the owner of the car maybe fined $250 for the offence.
