Sen. Terry Lister , PLP, said the Somerset community would miss Mr. Scott who was a bandleader and member of the Allen Temple AME Church.

Sen. Lister asked that congratulations be sent to Stage One Productions for their exciting and interesting play called the Drums of Passion which was a celebration of the Bermuda Gombeys.

Sen. Alf Oughton , Independent, asked that condolences be sent to the family of the late Nicholas Roque who had recently retired from Belco. He also asked that congratulations be sent to Belco's electrical supply trade union on the occasion of their 30th anniversary.

Sen. Yvette Swan , UBP, asked that condolences be sent to the family of the late Dr. Olivia Tucker who was the first black woman to graduate from the Columbia School of Pharmacology.

Sen. Swan also asked that congratulations be sent to the organisers and sponsors of the fifth annual Bermuda Philharmonic Orchestra concert.

Sen. Neletha Butterfield , PLP, asked that congratulations be sent to the Western Stars Sports Cub on its awards ceremony for senior, junior and female soccer players. She also asked that congratulations be sent to the Pembroke Association Sports Trust that held its first fund-raiser.
