Webb Tourism probe completed
A report into the management of the Department of Tourism has been completed, Premier Alex Scott confirmed yesterday.
Mr. Scott would not say what the report had concluded, saying it had yet to be discussed by Cabinet.
?My impression is that all the problems have not been removed but they have been lessened,? he said.
In January, Cabinet Secretary John Drinkwater asked Assistant Cabinet Secretary Khamisi Tokunbo to launch an investigation into complaints by Tourism Department staff about Tourism Minister Renee Webb
Ms Webb supported the probe, saying she considered many of the complaints to be unwarranted personal attacks. Through the Bermuda Public Service Union, staff at the department alleged that the Minister was rude, bullying, unpredictable and demanded they stand when she entered a room.
