The rental vessel, with a crew of four tourists, overturned at 12.50 p.m., close to Watford Bridge.
Marine Police attended, along with a safety vessel from the hire company, and righted the boat, picking up the people.
One appeared to be suffering from shock and was treated by emergency medical technicians from Port Royal Fire Station, but did not require hospital treatment.
Thieves helped themselves to a hammock which had been left out on Friday night on the front porch of a house on Daisyfield Drive, Sandys. The theft was discovered on Saturday morning by the occupier. And about ten cedar logs were stolen from outside a home on Middle Road, Devonshire.
