Seven people were arrested for suspicion of possessing a controlled drug during Police traffic spot-checks on Pender Road, Sandys and near Warwick Camp over the weekend.
One person was arrested for driving while disqualified and five others arrested for outstanding warrants, Police said, while another driver was arrested for impaired driving.
A total of seven people were arrested for drunk driving and there were five incidents of breaking and entering.
There were also 16 road traffic collisions resulting in injury and 23 damage only road traffic collisions.
Motorcyclist hurt in collision with taxi
A motorcyclist is in hospital after colliding with a taxi near the junction of Blackwatch Pass and North Shore Road at around 11.25 p.m. on Sunday, Police said.
Police admitted details were unclear yesterday. However, they said a 41-year-old Devonshire man was taken to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital as a result of facial injuries.
A spokeswoman from KEMH said yesterday the motorcycle driver was in a stable condition on a general ward.
"His injuries are not believed to be life threatening," Police said.
The driver of the taxi, a 68-year-old Pembroke man, was not injured.
Inquiries into this incident are underway, Police said.
