Man in ICU after stabbing
A man was in intensive care in hospital last night after being stabbed by an intruder at a Hamilton Parish house.
Police were called to the incident at Crawl Point Lane West at 1.20 p.m. yesterday.
According to a spokesman, the 25-year-old victim, from Pembroke, was dropped off at the house by a friend and found two unknown men inside.
A struggle broke out between the victim, his friend and the two intruders, during which the victim was stabbed in his left side by one of the suspects.
The intruders escaped on a motorcycle, travelling west through the Railway Trail towards the Crawl Hill Esso Gas Station. The victim was taken to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital. His condition was described as ?stable? last night.
Police have appealed for witnesses ? particularly anyone who saw two young men on a motorcycle on the Railway Trail heading toward the gas station ? to contact St. George?s Criminal Investigation Unit on 297-1122.
