Fatal accident victim named

Bermuda?s ninth road fatality of 2006 was named by Police as 46-year-old Michael Ratteray.Mr. Ratteray died after losing control of his motorcycle while overtaking a car on Middle Road, near its junction with Adams Lane, Warwick, on Tuesday morning.His death was the third on the Island?s roads in as many weeks and Police are still investigating the accident. A Bermuda Police Service spokesman said that Mr. Ratteray, of St. John?s Road, Pembroke, was thrown from his cycle after losing control of it and hitting an embankmentWitnesses to the crash are asked to call the Traffic Enforcement Unit on 299-4265.
