Police in chase

Police were in a high speed chase on Middle Road, Devonshire on Wednesday afternoon with a motorcycle.

The rider crashed and was caught after a short chase. He was arrested and taken to Hamilton Police Station.

Cell phone stolen

Liquor, money, and a cell phone was stolen from a Shawn Acres Lane, Southampton residence on Tuesday.

The complainant said that sometime between 10 p.m. and midnight, someone broke into the home and stole a Nokia cell phone, $50 in cash, three bottles of wine, and two bottles of beer.
