over 25 years, the Bermuda Employers' Council is constantly researching training initiatives to meet the challenge of the changing times.

Human Resource Development and Training officer at the BEC Ms Zolee Davis yesterday announced a restructured plan which will include customised in-house training.

"It is imperative to meet the demand for the year 2000, and be abreast of current trends,'' Ms Davis said, adding that the BEC was aiming to be an innovative training centre specialising in in-house training for employees.

"As well as human resource development we are also investigating certification programmes qualifying managers and supervisors.'' The BEC utilises the services of several local trainers and overseas trainers.

"Our aim is to hone in on services for our membership. Our constant aim is to supply the training needs of our member companies,'' said Ms Davis.
