Charity comes up ACE for $25,000 donation
recently.
The charity raises funds for Bermuda agencies providing substance abuse education, prevention and rehabilitation programmes and will put this money toward supporting programmes at the Centre for Prevention of Alcohol and Drug Abuse (CADA), Fair Havens residential treatment facility for women, Focus drug treatment counselling service and PRIDE (Parent Resource Institute for Drug Education).
"As part of ACE's title sponsorship of the Senior PGA Tour event, ACE chose the Council Partner Trust as the organisation to receive funds designated to be given to a Bermuda charity,'' said ACE's press statement announcing the donation.
The cheque presentation was made by ACE Bermuda president and CEO Mark Herman during a thank you party for the volunteers who participated in the Council Partners Telethon this year.
The executive director of Council Partners Trust, Gordon Johnson, collected the donation on behalf of the charity.
