Ronald Gibbons scored 109 not out to lead Flatts to this comfortable victory over Somerset Bridge in First Division play at Lord's yesterday.
But it was a weekend of mixed fortunes for Flatts who on Saturday were themselves soundly beaten by Devoshire rec. by eight wickets after veteran Phillip Burgess led them to 152 with 66 runs. Ogapo Frederick took four wickets for 21 for Devonshire. Stephen Bremer was top scorer for Devonshire with 47 while Chris Foggo was not out on 44.
Devonshire Rec. were themselves soundly defeated yesterday by St. George's at Wellington Oval, losing by eight wickets. Devonshire were dismissed for a paltry 45 in 26.3 overs with Bremer scoring 19. Oronde Bascome led the eastenders bowling with four wickets for six runs off seven overs with five maidens while Gregg foggo took three wickets for four runs off six overs with four maidens.
Machai Simmons was top bat for St. George's with 20 not out while Christian Burgess was not out on 12.

At Somerset CC, solid batting performances by Reggie Tucker Jr. (76) and Deunte Darrell (64) enabled leaders Willow Cuts to record this easy victory to maintain their firm grip on first place.
