New-look aquarium
improvements at the Bermuda Aquarium in Flatts.
Bathroom renovations have already been completed with facilities for the disabled provided.
And work has started on digging a trench which will link power supplies, water and ventilation systems to the Aquarium.
Curator Mr. Jack Ward said: "The trench will be completed first so that other trenches do not have to be built in the future.
"It is all part of the early work on the North Park tank which will be started soon.
"The bathrooms are now able to cater for disabled people. In fact, the disabled now have access to everywhere in the Aquarium apart from the reference collections upstairs in the museum.'' DIGGING DEEP -- Work continues on the $2 million improvement scheme at the Aquarium in Flatts.
