animal related organisations and pet-care merchants to participate by offering educational, social, and special promotions throughout the month.

The idea behind the project is to make Bermudians more aware of the diversity of animal life on the Island and help them better understand their needs.

On Saturday October 5, the SPCA will be holding their annual Fun Fair, hosting numerous clubs such as the Bermuda Cat Fanciers Association Fun Cat Show; Bermuda Fry Angle Aquarium Society's Annual Tropical Fish show; The Bermuda Poultry Fanciers; and the All Breed Club.

In addition there will be a petting zoo, horse farrier exhibition, and the Bermuda Aquarium, Museum and Zoo will hold a reptile display.
