My responsibilities include keeping up appearances in the store to Digicel standards, ensuring that the staff remains knowledgeable, customer friendly and on top of any and all changes going on throughout the company and assisting customers with any needs they may have.What is your favourite part?I love knowing that a customer is leaving our store happy. That we have given them everything they came into the store for and they are completely satisfied. I also like to know that my team is happy. If I have happy staff then I will have happy customers.What is your least favourite part?Helping an irate customer can be quite difficult. I sometimes am not able to give them exactly what they may want but I always remain calm and try to come to a mutual agreement. These situations can take a lot of patience and will definitely put you to the test as to whether this is the job for you.What is your most interesting experience at work?My most interesting experience was actually when I first started at Digicel. I was put in training with a test to complete when finished. As I had never been in the telecommunications field before, I was quite nervous about it and made sure I paid close attention to everything. When I completed my test, I was told that I had gotten 100 percent so I was really excited but the funny part was when the CEO was told about my score his reaction was that the test needed to be made harder. All I could do was smile.What would you be doing otherwise?Travel agent.
