Islands Magazine which is to be devoted to weddings, honeymoons and romantic vacations.

Celebrating its 15th year, Islands promotes itself as the world's leading publication on island travel. It claims half a million readers, predominantly from the US and Canada.

Jay Klanfer, the magazine's Bermuda manager said: "We've selected Bermuda as one of the destinations to be included in our special advertising section because of its beauty, location and accessibility.

"This story will provide Bermudian properties with a unique opportunity to promote their services to the people who read Islands magazine. And that will help bring more tourists to Bermuda.'' Mr. Klanfer will spend a week in Bermuda starting on October 5 to discuss "inclusion opportunities'' with local hotels.
