Bermuda's squash veterans are competing in the Senior Caribbean Championships in Bahamas - and they started with a 2-1 win against Guyana.
Kirk Caza, Phil Spencer and Denise Kyme are expected to finish in the top four at the event.
Against Guyana, Spencer opened his account in the 50-plus age group with a win by default.
But in the men's 40-plus, Caza was soundly beaten, losing in three games, 9-1, 9-1, 9-6 to Allwyn Callander.
Kyme enjoyed an excellent victory in the ladies' 40-plus category, trouncing Chauncey Richmond 9-6, 9-0, 9-2, to ensure a victory for Bermuda.
In another team clash at the tournament, Jamaica defeated the Organisation of Eastern Caribbean States 3-0.
