Bermuda National Gallery PartnerRe Art Lecture Series: Bill Brandt in Focus. Reception 5.30 p.m., lecture 6 p.m. by visiting Goldsmiths College, University of London lecturer and art critic, Ian Jeffrey, who will discuss Brandt's connections with European photography in the 1930s and his photographic techniques. This presentation will reveal much about Brandt's personality, his artistic intentions, and the influence of his art from the 1950s onwards: 'a major artist.' $10 members; $20 non-members.

Get in the Pink Fun Walk under the distinguished patronage of Lady Gozney. Step Up & Out against Breast Cancer. Official start is 6 pm at Barrs Park. T-shirt packs are $40. Available at BF&M Insurance Pitts Bay Road, Sportseller Washington Mall and Bermuda Cancer & Health Centre on Point Finger Road. All money raised will go towards the Digital Mammography Equipment.
