Dame Lois Browne-Evans Building houses Bermuda's Magistrates' Courts
Government’s $4.4 million payout over the Dame Lois Browne Evans Building went to two local companies, a Public Works Ministry spokesman said.The “settlement fees” to contractors LLC and Universal Electric Ltd covered works done during the construction of the police and court facility.Both settlements were verified by the Project Manager.The payouts were cleared in Friday’s House of Assembly as part of supplementary budgeting for the fiscal year of 2011/12.
