Dear Sir,I am a Bermudian living abroad. I read The Royal Gazette daily, online and have been disturbed and concerned over the shootings etc. This year, on my annual visit, I was lucky enough to be here on Bermuda Day where my faith in the community spirit was restored. During the race we walked down Front Street to Crow Lane. Great atmosphere all the way. What a crowd at Crow Lane. There was a group of lively ladies who greeted every runner and put a smile on everyone’s faces. The community spirit was again demonstrated during the parade.
