The store closed when Mr. Dennis Souza moved to Australia to act as a consultant for carpet companies in July, 1992.

Now, he is back in Bermuda in partnership with Mrs. Dorothy Nelmes, who will focus on marketing and sales of the retail and wholesale sides of the business.

Mr. Souza has 24 years experience in the carpet industry. He installed carpets for 18 years, before opening his first retail store in Flatts in 1987.

He then opened a show room on Church Street, and operated a warehouse at Mills Creek.

His role at the new showroom and warehouse, now called Souza Carpet Sales and Installation, will be installing, estimating and taking charge of stock and new container loads in the warehouse.
