Cafe patrons captured in artwork now displayed on the walls around them
Emma Ingham Dounouk's show "Uncommon Lines" opens this evening at the Common Ground Café.
"Uncommon Lines" is a one-woman show exhibiting the artist's current work of line drawings with watercolour washes.
Mrs. Ingham Dounouk's show is based around Common Ground Café's patrons during their visits to the eatery.
Later, in her studio in St. George's, she applied a layer of watercolour wash to bring out the various flesh tones to enhance her line drawings.
This is a very special collection of work that celebrates our day-to-day lives filled with great characters all around us!
This show is brought to you by Select Palette Art, and runs through July 16.
In addition, the artist is accepting commissions and those interested can contact Susan A. Pearson of Select Palette Art, on 505-4290 or via email on SPArt@logic.bm.
The opening is from 5.30 p.m. - 7.30 p.m.
