The Royal Gazette/Bermuda Stock Exchange Index rose 60.99 points yesterday to close at 3,548.76 on the strength of 4,823 Butterfield Bank shares changing hands, to close at $42 a $1.09 rise on Tuesday.Belco Holdings led the remainder of the pack with 978 shares rising $0.95 to close at $42, while 400 Bermuda Container Line shares sold at $14.95. Two-hundred and fifty LOM Holdings shares sold, dropping $0.10 to $2.90 and just 20 BF&M Ltd. shares sold to close unchanged at $14.
