Pupils were sent home early from Dellwood Middle School yesterday due to plumbing problems.According to Principal Jeanette Musson, the problem was caused by the loss of water pressure by the main pump in the water management plant at the school, in North Street, Hamilton. She said that when staff arrived yesterday morning, they became aware that the water was not running properly throughout the school."It was determined that our ability to properly address the situation would take longer than the need to use our washrooms would allow. In the interest of hygiene and the protection of our students, we decided to send them home," she explained.
