Partial reopening for Bermuda Aquarium, Museum and Zoo

The Bermuda Aquarium, Museum and Zoo

The Bermuda Aquarium, Museum and Zoo has partially reopened more than a month after the pandemic forced it to shut its doors.

The attraction, which closed to guests on March 29 in the wake of a spike of Covid-19 cases, began to welcome visitors into some areas last Wednesday.

Guests can now visit the aquarium hall, museum, gardens and shop, with the zoo expected to reopen in a few weeks.

The facility will open at 9am with last admission at 4pm, however the maximum occupancy in the aquarium hall will be 20 people.

Guests – except for children under the age of two – will be required to wear masks inside, in covered areas and in animal exhibits once the zoo reopens.

Those who visit will also be required to fill out a contact tracing form on arrival, disinfect their hands and practice social distancing.

Only visiting groups of under ten people will be accepted into the facility at a time, and they must all be members of the same household.

Those who do not sign-up in advance may have to wait briefly, if necessary, to provide adequate physical distancing between people, especially in the Aquarium Hall.

People can sign up for visits online at https://tinyurl.com/mybamzentry.

A reservation is not required for a visit to the gift shop – guests are welcome to stop by and browse the books and toys available.

You must be Registered or to post comment or to vote.
