The Board of Directors of White Mountains Insurance Group Limited has elected as a director of the company.

Mr. Waters is the founder and Managing Member of Mulherrin Capital Advisors, LLC, a financial services consulting firm, with primary emphasis on the property and casualty insurance business.

He was formerly the chief financial officer of the company, a position he held until 1997.

In addition, Mr. Waters previously served on the company?s board from November 2003 to October 2004.
