Soccer star's wife gives gift of life

Kyle Lightbourne's wife has given the gift of life to her brother - her kidney for a transplant.Rosemarie Lightbourne, mother-of-two, donated her kidney after her brother, Edward Troy, had to experience dialysis three times a week.Mr. Troy, a 34-year-old taxi driver, was born with one kidney and developed kidney failure in 1995.

Rosemarie Lightbourne, mother-of-two, donated her kidney after her brother, Edward Troy, had to experience dialysis three times a week.
Mr. Troy, a 34-year-old taxi driver, was born with one kidney and developed kidney failure in 1995.
Mrs. Lightbourne said: "He was going through so much, it was a small thing for me to do."
Mr. Troy added: `She's the best sister in the world. It's tremendous.'
Two years ago, Mr. Troy underwent a kidney transplant at the Bringham and Women's Hospital in Boston, but the kidney failed after a few months.
