A man accused of holding two women hostage appeared in Magistrates' Court on charges yesterday.Randolph Lightbourne, 42, of Spring Benny Road, Sandys was not required to enter a plea as the charges are indictable.Lightbourne was charged with five offences entering into a house with intent to steal, holding a firearm, namely an imitation firearm, at two different Cottage Hill Road residences, holding two women hostage and attempting to use a firearm to commit an offence.

Lightbourne was charged with five offences entering into a house with intent to steal, holding a firearm, namely an imitation firearm, at two different Cottage Hill Road residences, holding two women hostage and attempting to use a firearm to commit an offence.
He was remanded in custody until later this month, when he will reappear in court for mention.
