A local law firm has answered a call to help provide school supplies for needy children.

Responding to a recent story regarding the charity Hands of Love, ISIS Law collected school supplies to help 50 young boys and girls.

Office Manager Crystal Vigneri-Torak said as soon as she read the article, she began to formulate a plan, which she brought to director Sharon Beesley.

“Sharon does a great deal of charity work with KatKids as well as going overseas and volunteering,” she said. “Helping children in need has always been very close to Sharon’s heart.

“After speaking with Dennis [Cherry] of Conspec Imports, he advised us that he would not charge us as it was for charity and Dennis loves an opportunity to give back. He worked and helped us with our order even while he was on vacation to ensure that we met our deadline.”

In addition to collecting donations, the firm held a denim day, which was used to supply snacks for the student’s lunch boxes.
