Bermuda internationals Taurean Manders and Keishen Bean have missed out on playing in the United Soccer Leagues PDL finals.

Manders' Brandenton Academics lost to Ventura County Fusion 6-1 in the play-off semi-finals in Texas on Sunday.

Bean's Fury were defeated for the first time this season against visiting Ocean City Barons to end their hopes of winning the Northeast Division Championship last week.

Bean said he hoped to rejoin the Canadian outfit for next season: "I was very happy about our season," said the former Bermuda Hogges attacker. "We went undefeated all season and won the league only to lose in the Conference finals.

"I played an important role with my team and I'm happy that coach Steve Okane chose me to play for Fury. I'm looking to sign with them next season and to go even further."
