TBI simplifies bill payments

Encouraging customers to help the environment by paying their monthly phone bills online rather than receiving mailed out bills has led TeleBermuda International to donate $1,000 to the Bermuda Audubon Society.

At the same time TBI has introduced a simpler way for its customers to combine and pay their landline and cell phone bills on one monthly statement.

Residential and corporate customers can take advantage of the One Bill option for long-distance international voice and data communication.

"Our new One Bill option allows customers to apply all their voice plans to a single residential or corporate account, giving them added convenience and time savings when it comes to reviewing their monthly bills," said Gregory Swan, TBI president.

And Tamiko Black, voice product manager, said a further enhancement has come as a result of the new billing platform. She explained: "Cell customers can choose the flat rate Infinity unlimited cellular calling plan for the US, Canada and UK and Ireland. Not having to incur hotel charges is a major deal, and knowing their contacts can access them at the same number, especially in the case of an emergency, makes life simpler and less stressful."

The ability to pay bills through the internet by using One Bill has added "an environmentally-friendly dimension" said company president Mr. Swan.

"We are proud to contribute to Bermuda Audubon society to highlight the significance of online billing to our community. It not only keeps unnecessary paper out of our environment, it allows you to do other activities such as lunching in the park instead of spending that time to pay your bill."

A $1,000 donation was accepted by Jennifer Gray, president of the Audubon Society.
