In the first incident, officers discovered a man covered in blood at a house on Pieces Of Eight Lane, St. George's, in the early hours of Saturday morning.

The man had a gash on his forehead and a large wound at the back of his head which was pouring with blood.

He was taken to hospital but was allowed home after receiving treatment.

The victim was unable to give Police any details about the attack. He said he remembered leaving a nearby bar in the early hours of the morning and then being attacked in Pieces Of Eight Lane. He could not recall what his attackers looked like or what weapons they had used.

In a separate incident, a man was taken to hospital with head wounds after two youths began hurling rocks at him.

The victim was walking his dog on St. Mary's Road, Warwick, just after 4 p.m.

on Saturday afternoon when he was approached by two youths who, he claimed, began making racial remarks.

The man started to return to his car but, before he could drive off, he was showered in rocks and bottles thrown by the two youths.

The windscreen of his car was smashed and he was cut on the head and right shoulder.

The first youth is described as light-skinned, about five feet eight inches tall and weighing 120 to 130 pounds. He was wearing a beige T-shirt.

The second attacker was dark-skinned, aged between 16 and 18 and about five feet, ten inches tall, weighing 140 to 150 pounds.
