IT veteran Shannon Gosse is to join technology firm Ignition as business development manager.

Mr Gosse — who formerly worked at telecoms firm Digicel and the Bermuda IBM arm — will manage all key areas of development.

He said: “I am thrilled to join the Ignition team. Ignition has a strong presence in the region and I look forward to helping Ignition expand on its current success and to using my expertise to help drive market growth.” Ignition specialises in offshore business technology, including managed services, cloud hosting and business continuity and disaster recovery, as well as IT outsourcing.

Ignition chief technology officer Richard James said: “We’re very pleased to have Shannon join our team. He is well-respected in this region and his professional pedigree will be an asset to the Ignition team.

“We look forward to Shannon representing the Ignition brand.”
