BCB treasurer Tracey Pitt selected for ICC’s future leaders programme

Bermuda’s Tracey Pitt has been selected among 40 women from 29 ICC member countries to be mentored as part of the International Cricket Council’s 100 per cent Cricket Future Leaders Programme, which starts this month.

The programme is designed to support emerging female talent in cricket, as part of the ICC’s long-term commitment to accelerate the growth of women’s cricket and women in cricket.

There was an overwhelming response, with more than 300 applicants from 45 different countries when the programme was launched.

The initial group will be split into two batches as the programme addresses the low percentage of women in leadership positions in cricket globally, and also to build a pipeline of new female leaders in cricket. Batch one will begin this month.

Pitt, the new treasurer of the Bermuda Cricket Board, will have Michelle Enright as her mentor.

Enright, an accountant who is the acting chief executive of the T20 World Cup in Australia, was previously employed as head of finance and administration at the 2018 Commonwealth Games in the Gold Coast.
