Busy time ahead for local band
A Bermuda band is about to launch its CD – named after their old name.
The Jam Signal Band, formerly known as the Home Grown Band, spoke to The Royal Gazette about the album, which features 15 original tracks.
Bandleader McCannon Cassidy said: "All tracks were written, produced and recorded by us at Jam Signal Studios."
He said the band planned a host of local gigs and added: "We will be performing at the St. George's New Year's Eve celebrations and will also be backing Troy Anthony. We also have shows at Docksiders on December 26 and 27 and January 2, 7 and 9."
Above all else the band wanted to express thanks to all of their supporters. "We want to thank our fans for all their support and really encourage everyone to go out and buy the album so that we can continue to carry on spreading the good vibes of Bermudian Reggae music," added McCannon.
The CD is available at Music World, Music Box, Sound Stage, Dub City, Shannons Boutique, The Source Warwick, Hoses Fashion, and Somerset Audio Visual.
