The man injured when a truck collided with a car on Friday has been discharged from the hospital.
Police were called to the junction of King Street and Dundonald Street shortly before 10 a.m. on Friday, where it appeared one of the trucks in the loading dock somehow rolled out of its bay and collided with a parked car.
At the time, a 41-year old Sandys Parish man was leaning into the parked car to speak to a family member. He was struck by the truck.
Though he was taken to the King Edward VII Memorial Hospital for treatment of leg injuries, a spokesperson for the hospital said yesterday he had been released.
