6,000 pounds lost ... and counting

More than 6,000 pounds have been lost in the Live Healthy Bermuda 100 Day Challenge which finishes in three weeks.

That means participants have logged 35,308 hours and walked the equivalent of 141,233 miles to finally pass the 6,000 pound mark and record a total of 6,169 pounds lost.

And organisers are proud as the activity level has risen and participants seem ready to have a strong finish.

Terry Faulkenberry of Aspen Insurance said: "We noticed an increase in activity last week from the previous few weeks so it appears we will have a strong finish.

"We continue to be impressed and excited with the results as they mark an amazing achievement for many of the participants. In the weight loss category, Foreplay has moved into first place ahead of Losing2Win for the first time in many weeks.

"They are followed closely by The Golden Girls. In the activity category, Re-balancing Our Portfolio continues to hold a six-hour lead over The Bottom Line."
