Local lawyer Lynda Milligan-Whyte has left her partnership at Milligan-Whyte & Smith to form her own legal practice.

Senior partner at the firm Orlando Smith said: "We wish Lynda well in her new venture and are not really saying goodbye as she will continue to work from the same Mintflower premises."

Mr. Smith also assured clients that Milligan-Whyte and Smith will continue to offer services and was developing other specialist areas.

He said: "Milligan-Whyte & Smith will continue to provide corporate administration services in addition to a full complement of legal services, whilst developing a strong voice in its specialist areas of re/insurance, insolvency, finance and venture capital."
