Under-19 pair skittle Cleveland
Cleveland 101 Teenagers George O'Brien and Fiqre Crockwell combined to take seven wickets and spearhead St. David's to a comfortable 175-run Premier League victory over Cleveland at Lord's.
The Bermuda under-19 national team players ruined any slim hopes Cleveland had of reaching their target of 277, O'Brien finishing with the biggest haul of four for 48 off 10 overs.
Crockwell also enjoyed a fruitful day, finishing with three wickets for just eight runs off six overs.
Also among the wickets was veteran Dale Fox who claimed two for 19.
Veteran Johnny Richardson was top bat for Cleveland with 24 while Aaron Adams followed with 19.
Opener Phillip Pitcher was the high scorer for St. David's with 64 while Glenn Blakeney struck 41. Lionel Cann chipped in with 39 and Clay Smith 26.
Peter Philpott was the top bowler for Cleveland, taking two for 26 while Earl Richardson had two for 51.
Somerset Bridge 97 St George's 98-4 National team skipper Charlie Marshall steered St George's to victory over Somerset Bridge at White Hill Field.
Marshall scored 23 not out, but should, have been in the pavilion six runs earlier when he skied a shot into midfield only to see an easy catch spilled.
St. George's opener Andrew Richardson opened notched 19 before he was caught by Ryan Shepherd off the bowling of Andrew Wilson. Jason Anderson and Sinclair Gibbons followed cheaply, but 12 from the hulking form of Kenny Phillips and a steady 17 not out from Mark Ray ensured the points went east.
Somerset had earlier set a target of 97, Andrew Wilson top scoring with 17.
Eugene Foggo was the pick of the St. George's bowlers, taking four for 11.
