BHB staff’s fun-raising event

Hospital staff have raised more than $10,000 for a fund-raising campaign to help pay for the new building at the King Edward VII Memorial Hospital. A group of staff put on an event showcasing the talents of hospital workers at the Ruth Seaton James Auditorium at CedarBridge Academy last month to raise cash for the Bermuda Hospitals Charitable Trust’s “Why It Matters” campaign. The show was the brainchild of staff member Beverly Marshall, backed by a committee. Hospital staff have raised a total of more than $47,000 for the fund so far.
